A light yellow knitting needle case made by Bex with ‘Knitting Pins’ formed in the top and a ruler each side in centimetres and inches. The lid just sits on top, it is not clipped in any way.
Due to its age and use, it does have light surface scratches which only adds to its history and charm.

A little history about BEX: BEX is short for the British Xylonite Company, a British plastics manufacturer. Founded in 1877 by Daniel Spill and Levi Parsons Merriam, the company manufactured early plastics like Xylonite (celluloid). During the 1940s and 1950s, popular household items, storage containers, and crafters' accessories like the iconic pastel knitting needle cases were marketed under the BEX and Halex trade names. The company evolved through corporate mergers over the 20th century, and the plastics industry shifted and manufacturing sites eventually closed down.
